|Jasper Diekamp (Köln): Monologue of two machines|
»Monologue of two machines« is a kinetic installation of two lamps talking via light. The mechanic arms are moved by motors and steel strings, so they gain a kind of gesture. As soon as someone gets close to the system, both lamps focus the intruder until a certain distance is restored. The associative connection of the mechanical dynamics to the own repertoire of gestures creates a contour of life and enables the recipient to decode the movement.
