A dialogue between turntables and beer cans
»durchdrehen« (to spin, to go berserk) starts with rotating beercans. The optically captured surface of a can generates the initial sounds accompaigned with the spinning turntables picked up by sensors. All these inputs trigger various electronics in Flo’s suitcase. In combination with the rumbling drones created by Strotter’s manipulated machines, complex rhythms and dense structures are created. While the concerts goes on certain sounds are cut into beercans and played back on turntables. |
