ROCIO BERENGUER (FR/ES) : Eine Szene wie aus einem Hollywood-Film: Eine Frau setzt sich auf der Bühne mit einem Computer auseinander, einer künstlichen Intelligenz, die durch Spracherkennung gesteuert wird. Sie ist auf der Suche nach Antworten: Können wir uns im digitalen Zeitalter neu erfinden? Können wir eine bessere Version von uns selbst schaffen? Wie bleiben wir im Gleichgewicht, in der Homöostase? Im Laufe der Performance treten Tanz und Projektion in einen fesselnden Dialog der Systeme, in einen atemlosen Strudel kraftvoller Anspannung und Verletzlichkeit. »Homeostasis #V2« feiert beim lab30 Festival seine Deutschlandpremiere!
CONTEMPORARY DANCE AND PROJECTIONS
ROCIO BERENGUER (FR/ES): Homeostasis is an attempt of reprogramming of one’s internal structure to reach a better version of oneself who is there homeostasis with the current context: the entry to the digital era. The formal choice of decontextualize the flamenco in a proposal of digital art installs the metaphor of the dichotomy between inheritance, DNA, memory and the contemporary context.
Wishing to reprogram her internal structure and to reach a new version of herself, a woman primes on stage a surrealist dialogue with a computer by means of the voice recognition. Computing bugs and put rhythm into flamenco come to chant then the dialogue between the various elements of the system: the dance, the video, the device, the speech. Homeostasis invites to cross the post-humanist question of the bio-power on the genetic property. What is the value of the unique, the fate, the poetry, the body, the unreproducible? How to integrate the error as the bias, as communication protocol between the body and the machine? What places for the unpredictable, for the accident?
