SOPHIE BUSAM (AUGSBURG):
The work, Ströme is a multimodal installation that visualizes and auditively interprets the behavior of currents and electrons in an electric circuit. The installation allows you to see what is going on in a power cable when current flows through it. This is made possible through a total of 240 LED lights which show the flowing current. The recipient is able to control the current by moving.

Die Arbeit »Ströme« ist eine multimodale Installation, die das Verhalten von Strömen und Elektronen in einem Stromkreis visualisiert und hörbar macht. Durch die Installation sehen Sie, was sich in einem Stromkabel abspielt, wenn Strom fließt. Dies wird mithilfe von insgesamt 240 LED-Lichtern möglich, welche den Stromfluss darstellen. Durch Bewegungen sind Sie in der Lage, die Installation zu steuern und die Spannung zu regeln.
