In this workshop we will build ‘one string instruments’ (Monochords). The Monochords are equipped with an simple electronic circuit that stimulates the string to play by itself. The circuit is quite simple and is built with only a few components. If you mount the circuit in the right position under the string, the string starts to "sing" by itself and wondrous floating sounds will be created.

In dem Workshop werden wir Einsaiteninstrumente bauen, die mit einer elektronischen Schaltung versehen werden, die die Saite zum selbstständigen Spielen anregt. Die Elektronik ist recht simpel und wird mit nur wenigen Bauteilen aufgebaut. Montiert man die Schaltung an der richtigen Position unter der Saite, dann beginnt die Saite von alleine zu “singen“ und es entstehen wundersame schwebende Töne.
