The first Augsburg art labs were also the nursery of the electro-conferences. These jam sessions in the field of experimental and electronic sound production give sound and visual artists a platform for interacting with each other and exchanging ideas. For the 20th Augsburg Art Lab, the stage of the abraxas House of Culture will once again crackle, rustle, tingle and whizz under the artistic direction of art sponsorship award winner Sebastian Giussani. He is bringing together a mix of established and also lesser-known musicians and sound artists whose unconventional and experimental use of instruments is in the foreground. Participants include the Institute for the Loss of Performance and Contemplation, Daniel Door, Tobias Grewenig, Laura Fong Prosper and NikoLFO.

Die ersten Augsburger Kunstlabore waren auch die Kinderstube der Elektrokonferenzen. Die Jam-Sessions im Bereich experimenteller und elektronischer Klangerzeugung bieten Klang- und Bildkünstlerinnen und –künstlern eine Plattform für Interaktion und Austausch. Zum 20. Augsburger Kunstlabor wird es auf der Bühne des Kulturhauses abraxas unter der künstlerischen Leitung von Kunstförderpreisträger Sebastian Giussani erneut knistern, rauschen, prickeln und sausen. Er führt arrivierte wie auch unbekanntere Musikerinnen und Musiker, Klangkünstlerinnen und Klangkünstler zusammen, deren experimenteller, unkonventioneller Umgang mit den Instrumenten im Vordergrund steht. Mit dabei sind u.a. das Institut für Leistungsabfall und Kontemplation, Daniel Door, Tobias Grewenig, Laura Fong Prosper und NikoLFO.
