ALENA KELN, OLGA BETTENBURG, JANA HÖGE, ANDREAS DURNER, GEORG KAGERMEIER, ALEXANDER KNAKRICK, TONIO KAMINSKY (AUGSBURG): Das Projekt »Skyline« ist an der Hochschule Augsburg im Studiengang Interaktive Medien entwickelt worden. Die Besucher*innen sind eingeladen, in einem Gleitschirm virtuell durch eine futuristische Stadt zu fliegen. Dabei kann man vier verschiedene Gebiete erkunden. Durch den schwebenden Zustand und die analoge Steuerung des Gleitschirms erreichen die Nutzer*innen ein Gefühl des »Mittendrinseins« – Virtual Reality pur!
FANCY SOME SIGHTSEEING?
ALENA KELN, OLGA BETTENBURG, JANA HÖGE, ANDREAS DURNER, GEORG KAGERMEIER, ALEXANDER KNAKRICK, TONIO KAMINSKY (AUGSBURG): With the VR technology and a harness connected to a frame structure, specially developed for this purpose, we let the players fly through a big futuristic city. Due to the floating state of the player and the analogue control of the paraglider, we achieve a certain authenticity - a feeling of really being part of the game.
